Money is tight right now & Craig's list is a godsend! We've been living on Ramen noodles pretty much a good part of this week & I'm out of diapers for Noah (Aaah!).
We've posted a number of items up for sale and that's what's been keeping us afloat. It's typically not this tight, in fact, I don't think we've ever been this broke since we first got married over 1o years ago.
That's the way it goes. Besides, how can we enjoy the good things in life if we don't suffer the hardships as well ;)

ReplyDeleteWe've been struggling since our last move from texas, as we were not expecting to move at all and therefore did not plan for it. We've been able to stay afloat so far thanks to Craig's list & the rental check from house in Texas.
ReplyDeleteMost of the reason is due to my loving husband who decided to let the warranty lapse on our house in Texas. Guess what? The 15 year old heat pump goes out. Thankfully, our manager will be fronting the bill for a replacement...but we will be out of that rent check for several months.
Ouch.
